MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC!!!

We continue to be committed to pursuing excellence in all we do. The most important thing we do as a church is our corporate worship each and every Sunday morning. Our Music Director and Ministry Assistant, Barbara Haun (with help from Tom L.) will be working this fall to enable excellence on Sunday morning. Please take note of the schedule below. We encourage anyone with even a bit of interest, to be a part.

Wednesday: 7-8 & 8-8:45

• 1st Wed. of the Month: Guitar Practice / Communion Singing Practice
• 2nd Wed. of the Month: GCPC Choir / Communion Singing Practice
• 3rd Wed. of the Month: Band Practice / Communion Singing Practice
• 4th Wed. of the Month: GCPC Choir / Communion Singing Practice

The GCPC Choir is open to anyone who would like to use their voices and musical talent God has given them to serve us in our worship. If you are interested, please contact Barbara.

We are looking for more guitar (and strings) talent. If you are interested and can meet for practice the 1st Wednesday of each month, please contact Barbara.

Tuesday 7-8

Kid’s Choir - This will be a two-month opportunity for children, grades 2 - 7, beginning mid-October. The goal is to encourage our young folks in the joy of corporate worship.

Music Theory for Singers - Classes will tentatively begin again on Tuesday, Sept. 16. This is a 12 week course that will end around Dec. 2 or Dec. 9. Those who are interested should contact Tom L. at 817 454-4208. This will be from 7:00-8:00pm each Tuesday.
