Seemingly rough and worn, yet simple and modern,
our logo symbolizes a gathering of imperfect souls
that have come together to be in community
and worship the Triune God.

Christian Education

Our Christian Education hour is from 9:30 am to 10:15 am on Sunday mornings. The purpose of adult Christian Education at GCPC is to provide a gospel-oriented framework for further study of God's Word. Children's Sunday School is designed to provide age-appropriate and Christ-centered instruction to assist parents in family worship and catechesis.

  • Toddlers:Show Me Jesus - Ages 2 - 3
  • Preschool and Elementary:Kids' Quest Catechism Club and First Catechism
  • Older Children and Youth: Currently, older children meet with adults in the chapel. We plan to offer a class tailored to youth in the near future.
  • Adults: Starting Sunday, January 11th, Pastor Browning will be leading the adult Sunday School hour through a study on the start of the Reformation. The class will examine how Christ used Martin Luther and a number of other key men to restore the gospel to His church. The study is fast-moving, twelve-week look into the men that set the stage for Luther and how Christ prepared and used Luther as the flashpoint of the Reformation. It is a particularly helpful study for those who are new to the Reformation and Reformed theology.

In addition to Sunday School, we offer additional teaching opportunities during our worship service

All children of all ages are encouraged to remain for the entire worship service. There will be 'Kid's Quiz' pages provided each week to help our little ones develop the discipline to listen well to the sermon.

Children's Church is an optional service for children 4 years old through 1st grade. Parents who choose to allow their children to take part in Children's Church can dismiss their children at the point in the worship service where the sermon begins. The children will be in class considering the same biblical text as their parents who remain. We want to encourage families to discuss God's Word after worship and therefore believe it is important for families to be ministered to by the same truths each Lord's Day.
